Probability Notation Symbols:
P: denotes probability.
A, B, and C represent specific events.
P(A) represents the probability of the event A occurring.

Null Set Notation
Represents an emptied or null set.

A subset B notation looks like A C B
Notation represents A is a subset of B.

A union B notation looks like A U B
Notation represents the union of A and B.

A intersection B notation is A upside down U B
Notation represents the intersection of A and B.

A’ notation represents the complement of A.
A! notation representsa factorial.

Combination Notation nCr = (n above r)
Notation represents a combination.

Permuation Notation nPr  (n and r are slightly lower than the capital P)
Notation represents a permutation.
