Density Curve Definition

Graphs of a continuous probability distributions are also known as density curves as long as it meets the necessary requirements.  The following is an example of a density curve.

Density Curve Graph (image) meeting the requirements, never goes bellow x axis, area = 1
The properties for a Density Curve are as followed:

  • Never goes below the x-axis
  • Area of a Density Curve is 1
