Hypergeometric Distribution Definition:

When you randomly select from A items and B items, and want to know the probability of the selecting an exact amount of A items and B items.

  • Population
  • 2 types of objects
  • Objects must be distinct
  • Population of A + Population of B = Total Population

Hypergeometric Distribution Formula:

hypergeometric distribution formula is P(X) = (aCx*bC(n-x))/((a+b)Cn)
